IndyCar drops double-file restarts

IndyCar has dropped double-file restarts for the rest of the 2014 season. Previously, the series had stipulated double-file restarts for all oval races other than the Indianapolis 500, with single-file restarts to be used on road and street courses. However on the eve of the race at Texas – the first race of the season where double-file restarts would have been employed – the series issued a bulletin confirming the change.
